The Lost Revival: To Hell With Them All

Lost Revival Bio

The Lost Revival is an Indie rock band from Columbus Ohio. They have released four albums, 2008's Homemade Confetti, 2010's To Hell With Them All, 2012's The Greatest Scam Ever Pulled, and 2017's American Heir. Homemade Confetti was named debut album of 2008 by Columbus Alive.  To Hell With Them All yielded the band's most successful song, "The King of Electricity."  The Greatest Scam Ever Pulled received overwhelmingly positive press, as did American Heir. The band worked closely on these albums with engineer/producer Jay Alton (www.jayalton.com.)  To Hell With Them All and The Greatest Scam Ever Pulled were mastered by Brian Lucey (http://www.magicgardenmastering.com).

The band was formed when singer songwriter Kevin Collins and guitarist Daniel Kirschembaum’s house was robbed and several guitars were stolen.  The two decided to use the insurance money to purchase a synthesizer; this event helped the band create their distinctive sound.  Their music combines bombastic Folk rock and electronic noise to create a genre they call "Bastardized Americana." /after releasing their debut album in 2008 the band began touring and amassing a loyal following due to their intense live shows.  The band was selected to perform at Columbus Alernative Radio Station CD101's sold out Summerfest at the LC Pavillion in 2008, and made an on air live performance for the Andymanathon with the late and legendary Andyman Davis in 2009.  The band has been played extensively on CD101, and in January 2012, their song "The King of Electricity" was placed into CD101's regular rotation, and was a top requested song.   In 2012 the band was nominated for top Alternative Act by the Columbus Music Awards.

The band has played extensively in Ohio and has toured outside of Ohio, with several shows in New York City.  They have played alongside such musical acts as: Dr. Dog, VHS or BETA, The Von Bondies, Darker My Love, Two Cow Garage, and many others.  The group’s true story can only be heard through their music, and you are welcome to listen and enjoy.
